OK, I had one a real weird dream the other night. I don’t tend to remember my own dreams but this one really stuck with me so I decided to look up what one of the things in it meant. A Tornado, I’ve been dreaming a lot of tornados lately.
Once I looked that up, I decided to look up the rest of the dream and saw some interesting things. I thought I’d tell you about the dream and what I found and see what you thought.

In the dream I am walking down a highway with my friends when a tornado starts coming for us.
My friends and I find an exit and run down to a farm at the bottom of the turn off. We hide behind a stack of hay under a tent like tarp until we notice the tornado can no longer be seen.
It can’t be seen because we are in a dome. We each separate to find a way out and I realize that the dome is really a fun house. It is like a Maze inside and I start having to weave my may though Children.
I think I see a way out, but to get to it I have to climb up a slide as a child is trying to come down. At the top is a crowded restaurant and I still can’t get out.
After arguing with the owner I find a store and try and buy a flying carpet but it doesn’t work. I get out and find my way to a house with it seems is mine.
When I get there, I find my friends have made it home and they can all do magic. They give me a choice between two magic wands that one of them had made and I take the smaller of them.
Now it seems I am as talented as they are, but it seems the villain of the story has found us and I have to duel him like something out of Harry Potter.
I freeze him in ice for all time and am congratulated. Then two of my friends decide to get married and one of them comes out in a wedding dress.
Then I wake up. I have to stop eating banana splits before bed.

Here is what I found what some of these things are said to mean:

Highway
To see a highway in your dream, represents your sense of direction and your life's path. Consider the conditions of the highway which will reveal how much you feel in charge of your life. A smooth, straight highway signifies inner peace, while a winding, bumpy road reflects emotional distress/disharmony.

Friend
To see your friends in your dream, signifies aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to integrate these rejected part of yourself. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy tidings from them and the arrival of good news.
To see your childhood friend in your dream, signifies regression into your past where you had no responsibilities and things were much simpler and carefree. You may be wanting to escape the the pressures and stresses of adulthood. Consider the relationship you had with this friend and the lessons that were learned. Alternatively, the childhood friend may be suggesting that you have been acting in a childish manner and you need to start acting like an adult.
To dream that your best friend is dying, suggests that some aspect or quality that your best friend possess is dying within your own self.

Tornado
To see a tornado in your dream, suggests that you are experiencing some extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Is there a situation or relationship in your life that may be potentially destructive?
To dream that you are in a tornado, signifies that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. You will be met with a series of disappointments for the next week or so. Your plans will be filled with complications.
To see several tornadoes in your dream, represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.

Exit
To see an exit in your dream, indicates that you are looking for a way out of a waking situation.

Farm
To see or live on a farm in your dream, suggests that you need to develop aspect of yourself and utilize your potential. You are ready for growth.

Hay
To see hay in your dream, represents the necessity of hard work; nothing in life comes easy. You may also be feeling hopeless about a situation. Alternatively, hay indicates the need to nurture your maternal instincts, masculine energy, and/or your sexual urges. Consider also the symbol as a pun on "hey". Your dream may be trying to call your attention to something.

Tent
To dream that you are in a tent, signifies of a refreshing, but temporary change in your daily routine. You need to take time off and get away from the daily grind. The dream may also mean instability and insecurity in your current situation. You do not want to settle down.

Dome
To see a dome in your dream, signifies that you will never fully achieve your goals.
To dream that you are in the dome of a building, signifies some honor that will be bestowed upon you.

Separation
To dream of a separation, represents a waking situation or relationship that is breaking apart. You may be experiencing separation anxiety. Alternatively, it indicates that you are feeling torn apart and divided. Your feelings are pulling you in opposite directions.

Funhouse
To dream that you are in a funhouse, indicates that you have overcame your fears to the point where you can now chuckle at it.

Maze
To dream that you are in a maze, denotes that you need to deal with the task on hand at a more direct level. You are making the situation harder than it really is. Alternatively, the maze may symbolize your life and its twists and turns.

Children
To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. Perhaps there is something that you need to see grow and nurtured.

Slide
To dream that you or somebody is on a slide, indicates that you are experiencing some instability in your waking life. You may have lost your grip on a situation or relationship.

Restaurant
To dream that you are in a restaurant, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions/choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.

Argument
To dream that you are arguing, suggests that you are trying to resolve some internal conflict or some unsettled issue in your waking life. Consider the symbolism of whom you are arguing with and what you are arguing about. How does he or she reflect some person or soma aspect of yourself in your waking life?

Store
To dream of grocery or convenience store, suggests that you are emotionally and mentally strained. Alternatively, you may be brainstorming for new ideas or looking for the various choices out there for you.

Carpet
To see a carpet in your dream, represents your way of protecting yourself from life's harsh realities. Alternatively, a carpet symbolizes luxury, comfort or richness. Consider the condition and designs of the carpet. Are you hiding something and sweeping it under the carpet?

House
To see a house in your dream, represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system.
To dream that you are cleaning your house, signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and getting rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement.
If you live with others in your waking life, but dream that you are living alone, suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant.
To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update you mode of thinking.
To see a new house in your dream, indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life.

Wedding
To see a wedding in your dream, symbolizes a new beginning or transition in your current life. Dreams involving weddings are often negative and highlight some anxiety or fear. It often refers to feelings of bitterness, sorrow, or death. Alternatively, wedding dreams reflect your issues about commitment and independence.
To dream that you are getting married to your current spouse again, represents your wedded bliss and happiness. It highlights your strong commitment to each other. It may also signify a new phase (such as parenthood) that you are entering in your life.
