About 5 years ago I was living with my version of Ghostman's Satan outside Carson City, MI. Her 13 yr old daughter was outside late one night feeding the dogs (who were nowhere around at the time) her story was as she walked around the corner of the barn she imeadiately heard a very deep, loud growling. About 30-40 yards away in the dim moonlight she could barely see a very tall, black silouette. Her first thought was that it was a black bear. Being a camping girl she responded with yelling at it toscare it off. It didnt budge. When it crouched down to what looked like a lunging postion she realized it wasnt a bear, she ran like hell for the house. We called the sherriff, the deputy showed up & found some dog tracks, no bear tracks.
The tracks followed her back around the corner of the barn and up the edge of the porch light's reach then abruptly turned about 90 degrees then led out to the alfalfa field next to our house.

I've been a truck driver for most of adult life. I've had the pleasure of seeing alot of the greatest country in the world. I've also seen lots of animals from different angles, at high speeds & standing still. But what she descibed to me was definately not a bear, nor man, nor dog. Bears just dont crouch from a standing position on their hind feet. They are either up on 2 or down on all 4.
I've seen dark shadows cross in the headlites in front of my truck in the wee hours of the morning, there are lots of deer in Michigan. You can tell when something is on 4 legs or 2 just by the shape of the shiloutte. One time on my way to East Jordan on M-66 north of Macelona one of those shadows crossed in front of me in the distance I could tell right away it was a deer, moving fast. I immeadiately slowed because where ther is one there is bound to be more. But the shape that crossed behind the deer was not on all 4 & alot faster. Because of the glare of the oncoming headlites of the other truck I couldnt make out what it was. But it was bigger & faster than the deer. I asked the other truck on the cb if he had seen it. His reply was that he has been running up there for years, seen lots of things like it & will never talk about it to anybody. So I guess that was his way of saying yes. I have a freind of mine who is Indian & he wont talk about the dogman much with me, but he did say that the Dogmen or shape shifters
was like a "special forces" unit of the tribe. I find that very interesting. He goes to tribal meetings up north alot & has invited me to go sometime so I can "expeirence" some things. Hmmm...Tempting indeed.

I want to go out with a real cryptozoologiest sometime and go on a real bigfoot or dogman hunt. Did you listen to our show with Steve Cook who hosts the Dogman page and wrote the Michigan Dogman song.

Yeah I heard it. That was the second show I had listened to. I am now caught up for '08.
That show was awesome. I love talking and hearing shows like that. It's much more interesting to me to discuss the possiblities of crypto than ET.
Seems like everybody talks about ETs. I think it's better to discover whats in our backyards than to talk about something that isnt.
OMG to go out on an expedition would be just awesome as hell.
What was the guy that called in from the Carolina's? He's got a great radio personality. Great interview.
As for getting more people on the forums...just keep plugin away. I havent ever ran a forum for my show. Just been in a couple Very Happy
