"I wake up and he's dead.
I wake up... and he's alive."

That's pretty much the storyline. Sandra Bullock's character wakes up every morning on a different day of the week. It all centers around her husband's fatal car crash. She struggles to figure out the circumstances leading up to and surrounding his death because she's living the events out of order and things are not as they seem.
Really, I like the concept of being propelled into the insanity trying to figure out which events are causing the current ones and generally what day it is now. It's sort of like a party game.
"Oooo, it's Friday!" "No! It's Tuesday." That's basically all the fun to be had.
And people, that's just sad.
I love the mockery of the perfect suburban life. It disgusts me that there's compliancy and conformity running rampant nowadays so I revel in the fact that disaster lurks below the pristine flowers and fresh scent of pine.

This was mediocre fare. There are no surprises or thrills and there isn't even a desperate attempt at being a "thinking woman's" pic. I was really digging this flick until the final third when the intellect deflated as we rambled on to a dumb ending.
Sandra realizes that despite the emotional distance and underlying darkness that her husband has given her, she has to save him in order to preserve what's important to her.

GEE, WE GET IT. HIT US IN THE HEAD ONE MORE TIME WITH A SENSE OF MORALISTIC DUTY.
This movie is just o.k. Nothing more, nothing less. The only thing that stopped me from pulling an Errol Flynn on the screen is the fact that Sandra Bullock is freaking beautiful.
Wait! I'm having a premonition!
Hollywood will continue to piss on the paranormal community as they pad their pockets with our tear stained dollars.

True, bad Hollywood! But oh, Sandra.
